This course introduces educators to Subject-Based Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) as a model for continuous growth and collaboration. It focuses on understanding CPD and teacher competency, developing effective lesson plans aligned with NEP 2020, and building digital skills for teaching and professional engagement. Through interactive sessions and hands-on practice, participants will be equipped to lead and learn within their subject communities, both in-person and online.
This course aims to allow the School Leader to reflect on the current status of various competencies that are required in their role. This is not an assessment, but rather a reflection-based developmental tool for School leaders. It will also act as a mechanism to gather data on the impact of training and professional development, as well as identify areas to provide additional training support to School Leaders that can be used by training bodies such as State Institute of Educational Management and Training (SIEMAT) and School Leadership Academy (SLA).
