What You’ll Find on Abhyaas
Abhyaas is more than a learning platform — it’s a movement to connect, celebrate, and empower educators who are transforming schools from within.
Practitioner-Led Courses
Explore concise, field-tested courses created by educators and school leaders. Each course captures practical, contextual insights into teaching, leadership, and community engagement. Learn through formats like Fundaar – Fundo ka Bhandaar, hands-on tutorials on effective practices, and Voices from the Field, short videos featuring real practitioner experiences. These resources help educators learn from peers who have lived the journey, not just studied it.
Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
Join interactive PLCs that connect educators and system leaders across states. These virtual communities create spaces for peer reflection, collaborative problem-solving, and sharing best practices. By exchanging real-world solutions to common challenges, practitioners strengthen collective capacity and foster a culture of trust, learning, and continuous improvement in education.
Partner Resources
Access curated courses and resources from leading organisations such as Arpan (Child Safety Education), Saturday Art Class (Art-based SEL), and Librarians of India (Library transformation). Each partner contributes specialised expertise that enriches Abhyaas’ growing repository of practitioner wisdom — bringing together diverse voices, methods, and innovations to strengthen education across India.
State-Specific Content
Abhyaas supports professional development aligned with frameworks like School Quality Frameworks (SQFs), Shaala Siddhi, and SQAAF. States such as Nagaland, Tripura, Goa, and Arunachal Pradesh are already using the platform to connect self-assessment with capacity building and school improvement. This creates scalable pathways for impact that are relevant, data-driven, and contextually grounded.
About Abhyaas
Our Story:
Across India, thousands of educators and leaders are innovating quietly within their classrooms and communities. Their stories rarely get told — yet they hold the key to improving learning for every child.
Abhyaas was created to bring these voices to the forefront. Developed by Adhyayan Foundation, Abhyaas is part of the Body of Practitioner Knowledge (BoPK) — an initiative to document, share, and scale practitioner-led strategies that define what a good school looks like.
Our Vision:
To create a shared knowledge ecosystem where every educator can access and contribute to the collective wisdom of India’s schools.
Our Mission:
To make professional learning accessible, contextual, and practitioner-driven — bridging the gap between policy and practice through collaborative, field-tested knowledge.
