This course explores the critical role of educators in identifying and supporting students who experience emotional isolation due to language and cultural differences. Through a real-life inspired case of a student struggling to connect with peers and facing declining academic performance and self-esteem, participants will examine practical strategies for inclusive classroom practices.
Mr. Shekuto Rhakho also highlights how timely teacher intervention, empathetic listening, and targeted support can transform a student’s learning experience. Participants will gain insights into fostering belonging, addressing language barriers, and building culturally responsive classrooms that support both emotional well-being and academic success.
